Neocaridina culls refer to selectively bred shrimp that don’t meet the specific criteria or standards set for a particular color morph or pattern in the Neocaridina davidi species. These shrimp often exhibit variations in coloration, patterns, or markings that differ from the desired traits sought after in breeding programs. Despite not meeting the aesthetic standards, culls possess their own unique and often stunning appearances, showcasing diverse colors or patterns that might not align with the breeder’s objectives. While considered “undesirable” for breeding purposes, these culls are still resilient, lively additions to aquariums, displaying a charming array of colors that add an eclectic flair to aquatic landscapes. Culls are a mixture of all our Neocaridina tanks and cannot be separated by color or morph.

    Awesome mix of culls! All packed securely with no DOA’s, and even though they are culls I still find their colors to be appealing for my little tank. There’s a good variety of sizes and all seem to be healthy with no unwanted pests/parasites. Incredible customer service as well!

    They came perfect! I was upset because my mail carrier stuck the box in my mailbox, disregarding the large sticker on it that stated “live animals”. Despite of the best efforts of the USPS, all my shrimp arrived alive and well. Clearly your standards are high because my culls are vibrant and beautiful!

    They are an amazing mix of colors and sizes. I even received a buried female!!! They are amazingly colored, I think these are the prettiest cull shrimp I’ve received. I did lose 2 within the first few days, but that was self-inflicted I believe as my PH was different from what they came in and I don’t think I was able to bring my PH up to a level they were comfy in (in time). But now they all seem super stable and content with no issues.

    I picked up my order from the post office today and I couldn’t be happier. In spite of it being held at the post office an extra day I only had one loss (an Amano shrimp) but also two of my other bags (the cherry and the culls) contained a bonus tiny baby shrimp! So I actually got more than I paid for. ALL the shrimp were very active in the bag and are now happily swimming around in my tank! Thank you so much
