Blue Jelly Shrimp are a captivating result of selective breeding from Blue Rili Shrimp or the Red Rili Shrimp with blue bodies, known for their subtle and enchanting pale blue coloration. This delicate blue can sometimes have a slight greenish tint, particularly after feeding on green vegetables. Blue Jelly Shrimp are descended from Blue Body Red Rili Shrimp, and although the ideal specimen has no markings, occasional red spots may appear, even in shrimp whose parents were entirely blue. Their soft, light blue hue makes Blue Jelly Shrimp a beautiful addition to any freshwater aquarium, providing a serene and ethereal presence. These shrimp are especially appreciated for their unique color, which can vary slightly depending on their diet, adding an interesting dynamic to their care and appearance.
