Shipping Info & Practices

Please review our Shipping Policy carefully before making a purchase.

  • Orders will be shipped out on Mondays ONLY.  Tuesdays if post offices are closed on Monday.
  • Delivery takes about 1 to 4 days using ground service.
  • Orders place after 8PM the Sunday before will ship out the next week.
  • Tracking will be provided Sunday evening or Monday morning.
  • Shipping is USPS or UPS ground shipping depending on where you live. I reserve the right to use either service depending on the delivery window and/or cost. I provide priority, 2 day, and overnight shipping as well. Please reach out to me for overnight shipping. I ship as long as it doesn't get below 0° F. 
  • I do ship to Hawaii, Alaska, and other US territories. Please reach out to me before placing an order. Those orders who don't, I will have to cancel.
  • After the package leaves my care, I cannot assume responsibility for packages lost or damaged by the mail carriers. Every package is insured. Please bring the package to your local USPS/UPS to file a claim. In the event of lost or tracking not being updated via carrier scans, please reach out the carrier.
Insight on how we ship:
1) Every order is bagged with something for the shrimp to hold on to.
2) I add Puragen to help keep the water clear and handle waste.
3) We double bag to give extra structure. This is something new we started doing in response to popped bags from mishandling from shipping services.
4) The bags are packed in shredded cardboard and paper for insulation and it adds shock resistance. During the hotter and colder months, we use cellulose insulation and line the boxes with Styrofoam for added thermal regulation.
5) Invoice, drip instructions, and a little something from us is included in every order.
6) Depending on the season, ice and heat packs are available for purchase.
7) After sealing the box, we add 2 types of stickers. Live animal and fragile. We have added the fragile sticker in hopes it brings more attention to the box and requires delicate handling.
