The Orange Rili Shrimp is a striking color variant of the Orange Sakura Shrimp, which itself is a selectively bred descendant of the Red Cherry Shrimp known for its vibrant red and orange hues. The Orange Rili Shrimp has been developed through careful selection to emphasize its bold translucent white and orange striping, resulting in a very stable and consistent line. These shrimp typically exhibit a bright orange coloration on the head and tail, with a distinctive translucent white stripe across the middle of the body, though variations can occur depending on the specific breeding line. The Rili pattern, characterized by colored head and tail sections with a translucent middle, is a hallmark of this beautiful Neocaridina variety. Originating from the Neocaridina Davidi lineage, Orange Rili Shrimp have been selectively bred to enhance their unique orange and clear body coloration. While there are multiple color variants within the Neocaridina Davidi line, it is generally advised not to mix different colors to maintain the purity of the genes.
