Originating from the Neocaridina Davidi line, Blue Rili Shrimp have been selectively bred to achieve their distinctive blue color and characteristic clear midsection. While Neocaridina shrimp come in various colors, it is generally advised not to mix different color variants to maintain the purity of the genes. Mixing different colors often results in offspring reverting to a more natural, wild brown coloration.
